Meet Stacey

A short haired person wearing a flower shirt and a big smile. Rosen Method bodywork healing with a massage therapist in Minneapolis, MN. Specializing in LGBTQ+ and transgender care, post-top-surgery support, and oncology massage for cancer patients.

Hi there. I’m Stacey (They/them). Introvert. Neurodivergent. Always learning. Constantly evolving. Kind. Down to earth.

A board certified massage therapist since 2010. Holding space for trauma support through Rosen Method Bodywork (RMB) since 2013. New to Minneapolis in the fall of 2021. I moved from Rochester, MN where many of my clients were patients at Mayo Clinic. I’ve worked with an incredibly diverse range of people, nationalities and identities.

I believe deeply in listening to what our bodies are trying to teach us, and also respecting this knowledge. We live in a culture which enforces ‘always doing’, rather than slowing down and listening. The focus at my office is to embrace the pause, and to see what is there to learn and explore.

I am deeply passionate about holding space for others as they navigate life and embrace all the joys and challenges of living in a body. I am also deeply aware of the impacts of growing up in religious community, and how it can limit being our authentic selves, especially those who identify as LGBTQ+ or TGNC. You are not alone. You are welcomed to be yourself.

I have a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD. I completed my massage training at the Holistic Massage Training Institute in Baltimore, MD. I hold an additional Maters in Science from the George Washington University, in Washington D.C. Prior to becoming a massage therapist I worked in disaster response and planning.

Other modalities and training includes:
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)
Scar Tissue Management
Cranial Sacral
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Somatic Experiencing (intro courses)
Reiki Master
500 hour trained yoga teacher via Mayo Clinic

If you have any further questions, please text or email me. I welcome conversation and I look forward to meeting you.
