Massage Therapy

Client receiving a massage on their right arm

Bodies are complex, which is why so much emphasis is placed on meeting a client and developing a treatment plan, to best support the needs and concerns of each client - a sore neck and shoulders from too many zoom meetings, or working with incisions and scars from previous surgery, including cancer treatment and top surgery.

Massage does NOT need to hurt to be beneficial, or that soreness and bruising the day after are necessary signs for a ‘successful massage’. We work with the nervous system, rather than trying to ‘power through’, which allows a deeper session, restorative relaxation and more connection to one’s body.

Modalities include therapeutic massage, manual lymph drainage (MLD) and working with scar tissue, along with understanding the fascial system.
